STF postcard no 4 – Winter landscape at Kullagård
”Kullagård” in Halland?
This felt nearly total hopeless. But, what? A hit almost directly. Even with ”Google streetview” .. …. .
Elisabeth and I found the place a day in the autum 2013. We parked the car and had a talk with a neighbour raking leaves. He was born here and had seen 3 generations living at Kullagård. ”The house is designed by an architect”. I didn’t think very much about it, but later Elisabeth reminded me.
We didn’t find the exact ”photoposition” at once, but then I saw the big cliff just north from the building. We mounted and, of course we was on the right spot!
. .. Wikipedia tells more, Kullagård is designed by Ragnar Östberg, same architect who designed much of the city hall in Stockholm!, and the mailbox .. .
This is the mail box that Ragnar Östberg designed on the 1910’s and was used until the 1960’s.
Click on it and read some more! (Sorry, in Swedish.)
