STF postcard no 21 – HALMSTAD, THE HARBOUR
This postcard is taken from the north beach of Nissan westwards from the castle. From a place calld ”Dragvägen”. I think I can see both the church of Immanuel and what’s today is the office for the insurace company “Länsförsäkringar”. A lot of the other houses is demolished.
The big difference you can see here is maybe that in the beginning of the 1900s you only found freighters at the quays. Today only yachts for plesure.
