STF’s postcards 1927
1927 had STF, The Swedish Tourist Association, finished their sequense of pictures showing Sweden at that time. Totaly over 1200 pictures. Have a look at STF’s annual report 1927, reproduced here down to the left.
An idea showed up: ”Would it be possible to find this places, now nearly 100 years later, and take a new photo there?”
A lot of thinking began. A lot of searching for information began. Seraching in maps. Questions to enthusiasts. Questions to professionals. But most of all! Travels in Halland!
After quite a lot of investigations I made the Google-map below.
Elisabeth and me traveled around to the places I belived I had found. Spontaneous meeting with people we meet was the most funny of all!
Thanks to Astrid and Bosse Löfgren in Kungsbacka. Thanks to Knäreds Forskarring!
Thanks to Gurli and Bertil! Thanks to the old pair out there among the cliffs of Särö! (The ticks we got there, in the forest, why not try to forget them.) Thanks to many other!
