Slätthult …
.. was a small farm, a croft , in the forests between Krogsered and Drängsered.
Maybe nobody had known anything about it, or wath’s still remains of it, if not August Bondesson had written the story ”Jon in Slätthult”. A book, rich and very worth reading, telling about the life on a small croft in the forest, the first half of 1800’s.
Today only ruins remains. It was demolished on 30’s by the owner at that time but the place very worth a visit. Only the bases of the houses and the well remains. Krogsered’s society for local history takes today care of the place. Krogsered’s society for local history
