Hjalmar Johansson – Diaries

“Archive, Johansson, Hjalmar”, sounds a little bit “dry”. But here there are so many exciting things! Maybe you have already looked into Hjalmar’s and Stina’s photo albums. Many unusual pictures. Hjalmar must have loved his animals a lot, there are so many pictures of them.
Here you find two diaries which Hjalmar has written.
The first one is from the 1’st of April 1917 to the 30’th of September 1918, the second one from the 1’st of October 1918 to the 1’st of April 1920.
They are very exciting to read! The daily work, the death of a prince (29 September 1918), and holiday on bicycle to the relatives in Denmark, (16 – 22 September 1919), on Trekronergade, in Copenhagen (more about this in another place). Just click on the pictures for a closer look.
